42yr Report  Jul 26, 2010
Had mine for almost 2yrs now and it has seen use on several occasions for guests and on camping trips.
The material is strong yet not rough and the size is great for two adults (I am 6'2"). My only beef is that the pump seems to have lost some of its power at the top end, not filling the bed as firmly as when we got it. Then again, its seen a decent amount of use over the 2yrs.

4Wenzel /insta bed  Jul 26, 2010
My wife and I visit my mother often. She has a "sleeper sofa",which is far from the truth.Over the years we camped often and tried several inflatable mattresses.None of which lasted long at all due to seam leaks.
Reading the reviews on the inflatable mattresses on Amazon we decided to give the Wenzel a shot.I am 6'2" and 240#'s so for me obviously am skeptical. All in all we are pleased. It inflates and deflates easy, packs up nicely. Our first visit we slept great.I dont think that the mattress loses air but the weight of our bodies stretches the vinyl and the center gets softer. The second visit I over inflated to try to compensate which was a mistake. The outer perimeter became huge and was literally an uphill battle. The last night of the visit I didnt over-inflate and we slept fine.
For the money and what it is.........we're very satisfied.

4Great bed  Jul 25, 2010
This bed is a decent buy. It is too heavy to use as a portable bed for camping or whatnot but it is extremely good for those who need an instant guest bed that will stay inflated for longer periods of time. It is also raised so feels just like a regular bed.

2Comfortable at first, but has sprung a leak after 1 month  Jul 25, 2010
I bought this bed a month ago and have been sleeping on it with my partner every night (our bed is in storage, we're in the process of moving). It was pretty comfortable, but I have two complains.

1: The sides of the bed were higher than the center of the bed, causing us to roll towards the middle. We solved this by taking enough air out of the bed so that it was level, but this caused the edge to be under-inflated and thus not sturdy. Whatever, we dealt with it.

2: The bigger complaint is that after a month of gentle use, it has sprung an undetectable leak. We now have to fill up the bed at night, and by morning nearly half the air is gone. We can't find the leak and I think we'll have to throw it out.

5comfortable  Jul 22, 2010
The bed was easy to inflate and very comfortable. Its sits very high which is better than other air mattresses I've used that lay low on the ground. We left it inflated for 2 days it I didn't seem to lose much air, if any. Hopefully it holds up for many more uses.
