4not bad for a cheapy  Jul 14, 2010
This knife is ridiculously inexpensive and has held its edge remarkably long for a knife of its price and a blade of its thinness.

5Helped me out of a lot of jambs  Jul 09, 2010
The best story is when I went deer hunting last year, bagged a mule deer, but had lost my skinning knife. I skinned and dressed an entire deer with this knife and it worked very well. I actually purchased this because I was trying to fulfill another order's dollar amount to get free shipping. I was very pleasantly surprised, and this is now my every-day-carry knife. I've reserved my Benchmades for special occasions now so they don't get that beat up. Let me start this off by saying that I own a few Benchmade knives. This is by NO means a knife of that quality. However, I'm giving this a 5 star rating because of it's excellent value for the money. It has fairly decent action (ease of opening/closing), it's extremely sharp, and it seems to be of decent quality.

4sturdy knife except for the pocket clip screws.  Jul 01, 2010
This knife holds up great to my abusive treatment. The blade stays decently sharp and is fairly easy to resharpen. The only downside would have to be the screws that hold the pocket clip on. These screws like to back out so frequently that I decided to simply remove the pocket clip. Otherwise a good knife, a great value at the amazon.com price.

5Used everyday in the US Army  Jun 29, 2010
I am a member of the US Army. I use this knife everyday. In fact, I own two of them. I work in a maintenance shop repairing computers, networks, electronics, office chairs, air conditioning, you name they ask me to fix it. I even take it into the field on training exercises. I use this knife constantly. It rarely can rest. I have had them for several months now and show no signs of wear or dulling. People I work with have seen it in action and assumed I spent a lot of money on such a high quality item. Now lots of us in the shop have them. It is a great product, and will not let you down.

5Great for the price  Jun 24, 2010
Considering the price of this knife, it's a good deal. The action is easy for me to open the knife with one hand using my thumb, even with the knife fully closed, I had no need to "prime" it by opening it a bit first. Action was smooth, and the lock was solid. It's light weight but still feels pretty solid for something this small and inexpensive.
Edge is pretty good out of the box, but if you're knife person like me, you'll do some sharpening of your own.
Easily fits in a pocket, any pocket, without being too bulky and noticeable.
Belt clip is VERY tight, so while it can be a bit of a pain to get it over the seam in the edge of a jean pocket, for instance, it's worth the extra effort since you know it won't come off until you WANT it to come off.
Each side cover piece is held on by four tiny torx tip screws, with one larger torx tip on each side of the hinge, and three small torx tip screws holding the clip on the side.
Another good thing I like is that when you close it, there's not enough tension to snap the blade back in until it's nearly closed. I never liked the ones that will start going on their own when still 30 to 40% opened.
The X pattern on the handle does give it a good feel and keep it from sliding around in your hand, and happily, the belt clip, if you're right handed, fits well inside the hand by the inside of the knuckles / first bone in the fingers.
Something tells me this little thing is going to get a lot of use.

If it were more expensive I wouldn't give it five stars, since I'd have a different level of expectations then, but for something this inexpensive, it just can't be beat.
