Does the term "walking farts" mean anything to you?? Jun 24, 2010 I bought a pair of these on sale for $4.98 and am glad I didn't spend any more on them than what I did. After wearing out two pairs of generic "Crocs" I gave Sloggers a shot. I'm just glad nobody was around when I walked out of the house with them on. The shoes do not have holes in them like most clogs of this style. Not only does this make the shoes hotter because you don't get the air circulation of the others, but it allows for a certain suction to occur on your foot. As you take a step, the suction is broken and a rather embrassing sound is emitted from the shoe as the air escapes around your foot. The end result, it sounds like you are passing gas with every step! I suppose if you only wear them in the garden this might be fine, but better hope nobody sneaks up on you! I was also very disappointed in the comfort level of these shoes. The insoles are quite hard feeling despite the fact that the shoes are extremely flexible. You feel EVERYTHING you step on and there is no cushioning effect because of the density of the insole material. I thought these would replace my cheap "Crocs"... instead my search continues.

Most comfortable and versatile muckshoes available Mar 27, 2010 I bought my size 9's (for my 8 1/2 foot) Classic style at a garden store multiple years ago. They have been through many years of gardening, mowing, fiberglass work, dog walks, painting, outdoor house repair, etc. They still look exactly like when I first bought them.
Usually, I have very fussy feet and have to try on 30 pairs of sneakers to find a pair that fit, but these are comfortable right out of the box, although you wouldn't think so looking at them, because they have no padding. It is the shape that makes them comfortable. They are slimmer and more flattering than Crocs and are structured enough that you won't twist an ankle when walking on uneven surfaces. Their closed toes allow you to mow without fear that you will cut off a little piggy accidentally, and you don't have to wear socks with them. And, if left outside, the toes are squishy enough that you can step on them to make sure no scorpian is sleeping in there before putting them on.
They are fantastic for stepping in muck or poop, because unlike tennis shoes, you can just throw these things in a bucket of water or hose them off and wallah, they are back to perfect again. Even house paint will scrub right off. and intense year-round sun won't degrade the plastic either. Many times when you pull your foot out, it is the only clean part on your body. Because sweat forms sort of a vaccum effect, you probably won't step out of them like other clogs.
Haven't tried the "Premium" style yet. I hope they fit as well as the classic ones.
cute clogs Feb 06, 2010 The clogs are true to size and fit perfectly, easy to put on and off.
a little pricey but worth it.
really nice, smaller than I probably needed but fine... Nov 11, 2009 Very flexible, I wonder if the 8 would have been better. My foot is between the 7 and 8. I feel my toes against the plastic which obvioulsy isn't going to change. I use them a lot to water and garden, no complaints. The toes are not squished at all. They pretty much feel like a shoe when you have socks on. I'm tempted to buy the 8 but wonder if they would slip off...either way I highly recommend them for gardening. I like how the give easily when you are moving.
Good for average gardener or rainwear Sep 16, 2009 This product is true to size and would fit the needs of the average light gardener and as rainwear. It would not hold up to heavy gardening tasks or yardwork. The I can feel the gravel in our driveway when I walk on it through the sole. They are comfortable.
