5Great Boots  Feb 08, 2010
These are the best boots I have ever bought. We have had a very wet season
this year and they have performed very well. No leaks and very warm.

4Bogs are Great but this style runs small  Feb 08, 2010
My sons wear Bogs boots all winter and spring and fall. Nine months out of the year, the classic mid boot is their footwear of choice (we are in MA). These are rated for below zero temperatures and are completely waterproof so they run the gamut from rain boot to snow boot.
I can wear the same size as my older son, and I love wearing his bogs. So I wanted to buy a pair for myself but with a higher shank than the mid height. These seemed to fit the bill. However when they arrived they felt too small. I had my son try them on and he said they were too small (without my prompting). So unfortunately I am having to return them.

Buy one size up from the classic mid size and it should be great!

5You get what you pay for  Sep 08, 2009
I've owned my most recent pair of Bogs for three years; I wear them 2 to 3 times per week. These are the best boots I've ever had for wet environments. They are warm, comfortable, and easy to wear all day-- I am shopping for a new pair because mine are just now starting to leak at the point where the upper and rubber lower meet-- I expected them to wear out a long time ago. There's no doubt that I'll buy Bogs whenever buying waterproof boots for myself or as a gift. The only question I'm asking myself now is whether to get the Classics or the Ranchers. If you need a pair of waterproof, warm, and tough boots, you can't go wrong with this brand.

5Low tide warriors  Jan 22, 2009
I use these at low tide on the mud flats near my house. They are extremely durable against the forces of rocks, shells and barnacles and numerous sharp and potentially dangerous pieces of marine trash (crushed rusty wire lobster pots). The soles are great for traction on hard and soft surfaces. They keep you feet really warm, even while under some pretty cold water [think New England Atlantic].

The best part for me is the cuff around the top make a nice seal around my calf. I can actully submerge the whole boot with evry little leakage into the boot because of the seal. This is what sets these boots apart from Wellies.
